Dominique in a nutshell...
I am a tree hugger, an animal lover, and a chocoholic. My passion in life lies with animals and the beauty that comes with it - mother nature.

My grandparents took me on my first Kruger adventure when I was only three years old, and after that, I acknowledged the bush as my home. One of my chores on these trips was photographing all living creatures - good-looking family members, too.
Upon completing my Senior Certificate, I was fortunate to travel to Ireland, where my cousin acted as my photography mentor. Gradually, it dawned upon me that I might have found my calling. After being vitamin D deprived, I decided to return to South Africa and devote all my time compiling my wildlife portfolio.
The exposure to nature at a young age inspired me to study Nature Management, which helped me understand animal behaviour, management of the veld, and much more. I then paired my Diploma in Nature Management with my passion for photography.

My mission is to photograph animals to leave people in awe of their beauty and possibly save them from extinction through awareness. I focus mainly on animals, but if a beautiful landscape comes my way, I will capture this too.
